I so blamed my father down all these years for holding me off of the first pro-Life letter I wrote to the st. Petersburg Times, “What is Abortion?”

it began, “God writes…”

and analyzed the nature of abortion and ended that it should be used for a medical reason only.

then, for various reasons I guessed that it had gained notice. V I was trying to clarify that. Alex warned me that I had made myself a target.

this was in 2002 to the best of my recall. And we were living in the vicinity of St. Petersburg, Florida.

my father called me just after I called my brother Steven, who ended the call with a remark abiut the newspaper. My father called about Thomas the cat having to be put down.

all if this derailed me off of my concern about my letter to the editor and left me crying.

I assumed it was being done deliberately.

which was probably true.

but that woe never it never relented and I see now that another force probably stepped in there to make it bad for me and my family. I had it in mind but it has gone from me again. Probably a Sally aficionado. Or Sally herself. Acting out of jealousy and or self-preservation.

my letter was sort of sitting in the fence and I saw the need to fly instantly to pro-Life. I trusted the Church for the right answer.

I see that my father would have dropped the axe in time. He finally can now.
