it was to reflect kinder and gentler times times in romance.
then I realized instantly that it was already the beginning of the end for romance when that song was popular. Because romance involving sex outside marriage was a giddy high invoking natural body chemicals part of the powerful engine of human procreation.
Then came liquor and drugs of abuse to drive this further. Finally, pregnancies and abortion. Now, we are a loused up society.
i don’t know what to tell my son about this romance. He is hurt by this. As I have been in life before I met his father.
sex and withdrawal from it can be like the worst drug and addiction and withdrawal.
Lifting up America in prayer in this regard.
