I would have been all over trying to honor it only to be used and slapped down.

I remember wanting to know how to honor MLK Day and I finally realized to let it belong to American Blacks. That is a little different tho because he was such an inspirational leader. Like Ghandi, he inspired everybody.

but Black History month is more like Kwanzaa. Whites and others may step aside and let Blacks celebrate themselves for who they are.

am guessing that Black History month was probably created by Obama and obviously his fostering of Black ego strength thru slapping down whites and other de facto anti Blacks through long time unconsciously held postures and attitudes has led to a sea change in race issues in America and although this hurt like hell at the time to sea this get of the land pared off of me personally I do now respect Obama judgment and character. I did need to “slap” him in my next to last post for making it personal. Between fellow Harvard affiliates. He ran me to the ropes on psych wards for 15 long years pursuing me through women operating me to file charges of racist harassment.
