holy hitech has to work
I put uo this drawing from my fairly recent drawings from my time at Philhaven Hospital in a recent post to reflect the making of Ian. It’s hard to see what it shows.
the writing asserts 1. The it. (Which is me). 2. The bit. (Which is Alex). 3. The Byte. (Which is my father supervising from a distance.). And 4. “Is private”—that would be Ian on the way.

in college I talked about parents as holding “a high place in the mind” in a paper I wrote about The Golden Bowl by Henry James. My tutor loved that line.
today I am betwixt and between as we all struggle to redefine our roles in the wake of this new position the Lord has struck here in me. I pray that it will be a jolly journey for everybody concerned.
