Confronting Mental Health Challenges: My Journey

this has gone unaddressed

I took 3 months worth of Klonopin and Risperdol.

I believe they had to use shock treatments to bring me back. But I have no evidence of this. I just remembered the feeling of my head being thrown back over my shoulder over and over. And I was soaked with urine.

then I was on the holding area. And they didn’t let me go home. I was put on the inpatient unit where I stayed for at least a week or two. I was given invega. A new generation of Risperdol. Because the Risperdol brought back the bug phobia.

but the Invega was too expensive and and I couldn’t buy it so I was off my meds and something terrible happened.

now, I am getting confused because the time sequence is getting mixed up in my mind.

the point is that I was seriously brain damaged and, as once before in a situation like this, I was forced off of my death bed to be up n at’em to handle a situation: Ian was returning from my sister’s place in Utah. What I didn’t know at the time was that something horrible had happened to him there.

(similar to when I almost died in ‘86 in the clamped catheter incident but had to get up and face tge psych ward.)

I was able to get Ian into a new private school as he had dropped out of a boarding school. The overdose was swept under a rug. And has been twisting around in a state of abeyance ever since. Needs to be addressed.
