I went through a phase in which I warred against my father’s role in early hi tech and tried to derail the shrinked IC that created “tinsel technology” in place of more humanoid, curvy vacuum technology.

then, more recently I see that the IC as we know it is part of our pathway into outer space and meeting with aliens for good or for ill.

and I see that today, we have come to the limit of shrinked IC technology and maybe it is time to morph vacuum technology back in again; we need both.
