about Native Americans…

a neglected social issue…

related to the crisis at the border.

they were the ones who led me to connect with aliens.

I turned to them several years ago in my mind at the lowest ebb of my strength. I don’t remember too well now. I remembered talking to the birds in the woods behind my home in New Providence, NJ, and how the wild animals carried on from ancient times. We learned about the Native Americans in grade school and I loved that Springfield Avenue, near my home, was an old Native American pathway.

next thing I knew there was an alien in my home here in Berks County, PA!

On the psych ward I was on after being left in the woods (because of the alien encounter!) there was a Cherokee woman whom I connected with. I was so glad to see her. But I didn’t really know what to say.

I loved that Val Kilmer movie about the part Native American FBI agent who was sent to track a murder on a reservation. My understanding is that that was based on a true story.

I don’t really know a whole lot other than Laura Ingalls Wilder (the Little House on the Prairie” series, and a couple of charities I gave to. And once, when I was living in California I drove into a reservation by mistake when I used to drive all over the place to get out of the house. It was a very strange feeling.

I was connecting with them from the cottage because I heard something about drilling for oil on the reservation that infuriated me, just like, I donated to a charity that provided turkeys for Thanksgiving—can you imagine? We are feasting on Turkey Day and they don’t even have enough to eat? And they gave us the peace pipe and I figured they probably don’t have enough to buy tobacco.

This is sick. What is to be done here? They gave me Aliens. What do they need me to give them back?

I’m sure everyone loves the Cher song as I do: “Cherokee Nation will return!”

Somehow in the Lord this will happen. The Lord dovetails things. He will enmesh the return of the Native American Nations with the future of the other nations present in the United states. Just as they are today.

Praying for this.
