I had to revisit this place. For reasons I did not see. But now I do.

It is a city of matchmakers. They matched me up with a person I dated for a while after getting out of the state hospital. Then, with the husband of my dreams.

Now. I am a nun. Plighting my troth with God. Through faith I gained here. Such a long time ago. And, I came back here to be baptised in the Catholic Church.

I was desperate to come back here to be “churched” after the abortions. And to see my old friends. And I did come to visit over the years, as my parents continue to live nearby. Then, I had great fear on me when I returned to the area from Florida in 2012.

There were things I had to face that were unpleasant. I had become so ill.

So, it has all been cleared.

It is a beautiful city. Home of John Updike.

I will miss it.
